I’d also like to express that there might be situation in which you will apply for a loan and do not need a co-signer such as a Government Student Aid Loan. However, if you are getting a borrowing arrangement through a regular finance company then you need to be ready to have a co-signer ready to make it easier for you. The lenders will certainly base their decision over a few components but the greatest will be your credit standing. There are some financial institutions that will as well look at your work history and choose based on this but in most cases it will depend on your ranking.
